Jerry Calabrese, former VP of Global Restaurant Measurement at McDonald’s, comes out of retirement to share what he has learned over his career about what makes good restaurants great.  And he should know.  He helped drive some of the very changes in McDonald’s that led to its dramatic turnaround over the past ten years.


In this session, Jerry will share his insights on what he has learned about having executive championship for change; on combining multiple data streams in a single technology platform and using analytics to pinpoint what actions each restaurant needs to take to drive the biggest increase in sales.


This session will talk about the challenge that all restaurant operators face of growing same store sales.  Drawing from Jerry's experience at McDonald's, we'll talk about the strategies that company used to turn around its business over the past decade, and how they can be applied to restaurants today.
